L!VE is currently searching for a CDL Class A Driver to join our team. L!VE produces epic brand expressions through multi-medium, omni-channel environmentsevents, video, and scenic scapesresulting in extraordinary experiences that are relevant, riveting, and forever memorable for those we serve.
Primary Responsibilities
- Safely driving a combination vehicle (semi) truck with precious cargo and heavy equipment.
- Ensure that the truck, trailer and equipment arrive well before scheduled call time for next performance.
- Perform & adhere to the Tour description & itinerary.
- Accurately complete driver logbooks and related tour expense records.
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle safety checks and complete logs.
- Direct and assist with loading and unloading of equipment before and after performances.
Position Requirements
- MUST have a current Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
- MUST have a current medical card.
- MUST have valid and current Passport.
- A clean driving record with no violations (no moving violations and/or accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background security screen.
- Friendly, punctual, reliable, trustworthy, customer service orientated and work well independently.
- Be able to solve basic truck mechanical issues or find solutions and resources to get other repairs completed quickly.
- Be willing to travel and live closely within a family-like group.
- Be flexible with a schedule that may require some long stretches of driving but will not exceed safety standards.
- Must carry a mobile cellular telephone.
- Must provide a copy of your DMV driver's record.
- Must be capable of lifting 70 lbs, standing on a concrete floor for long periods and lifting and/or moving equipment on a repetitive basis.
- 2-5 years and min of 50,000 verifiable miles DOT qualified Class A combination vehicle (Semi/tractor-trailer) driving experience required.
