Position: QA/QC Supervisor
Supervisor: Operations Manager
Classification: Full-time, exempt
Summary Description:
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for the quality and compliance inspection and review of all the Electrical, Solar (PV) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) facility’s products and equipment installed by LiveWire and its Subcontractors.
Quality Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in project planning and design process to instill best practices
- Develop and implement the Project Specific Quality Plan
- Verify work meets the Inspection and Test Plan as required for the project.
- Complete Validation of quality inspections
- Assist in the development of and manage work instructions for construction tasks
- Perform and supervise field inspections at projects under construction and audit workmanship quality and adherence to design specs
- Communicate best practices to construction superintendents, field personnel, and Leadership
- Assist with the development of comprehensive task manuals and work procedures
- Assist as directed or required with punch list and warranty work
- Analyze new products for incorporation into future projects.
- Assist with pre-commissioning of completed PV plants
- Assist in the development of training curriculum to teach field personnel
- Document completed Inspections for turnover to client
- Enter in QA/QC documentation into Procore or other required client sites
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Highly proficient in technical aspects of commercial electrical and solar construction
- 3 years of electrical and solar construction experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of complex electrical systems and components
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, and commitment to producing high quality work product, and ability to multi-task under tight time pressures
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other technologies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities, subject to changes as business needs change.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
When working at a job site, job duties may be subject to outside environmental conditions. Some activities occur indoors and outdoors.
POSITIONS TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This position is a full-time salary position. Hours often follow those of a typical business work week. However, in this role you may be required to work weekends or after normal business hours as business needs.
TRAVEL:
Travel is required to the jobsite locations. Local Day travel as well as some overnight travel can be expected for this position.

- This is a full-time position that can require long hours and frequent weekend work, travel within the state; out of state travel is also possible
