What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at LM Construction Co?
We are looking for a receptionist to manage our front desk, perform a variety of administrative tasks and support our estimating team. Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
The receptionist is responsible for general office functions and administrative support including, but not limited to, the following:
Receptionist
- Greet guests as soon as they arrive.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Set up office conference room(s) for meetings and update calendar as needed.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone and/or email.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Maintain office guest control by limiting access.
- Order and manage office supply inventory.
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and general administrative support.
- Greet potential new hires and assist with new hire paperwork.
Estimating Support
- Initiate and/or track bid process through Procore.
- Set up the Bid Books for each project assigned.
- Create and/or populate spreadsheets for each project assigned.
- Make phone calls and send emails soliciting bidders for each project assigned.
