Position Summary
Are you a skilled Electrical Engineer with a passion for innovative design and development? As Lead Electrical Engineer, you'll join a dynamic team driving cutting-edge advancements in our land base casino gaming products.
In this role, you'll design, develop, and optimize electrical components and processes for power generation, transmission, and storage. You'll determine design parameters, run experimental tests, and select components based on analysis and reliability. Your work will shape the future of our products, from concept to installation and maintenance.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering, you'll collaborate with key teams to make a real impact across the business, in a forward-thinking environment that leads the industry.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead the development, test, and sustainment of electronic components, sub-assemblies, and systems for casino gaming applications.
- Provide architectural oversight on the development of motherboards around ARM and X86 processors.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders on electronic development from concept definition to production.
- Provide sustainment for existing hardware products.
- Perform design validation and test on newly designed and existing electronic products.
- Lead a small team of electrical engineering individual contributors working on various development, test, and sustainment projects.
- Technical Project manager for assigned development and sustainment projects
Qualifications
- 8 years’ experience in Electrical Hardware Development and Sustainment (full life cycle) with an emphasis on Embedded Systems, Computer Architecture, and Circuit Design.
- Strong knowledge in circuit board design using MCUs, MPUs, voltage regulators, and various discrete logic.
- Experienced with leading the development of electronic assemblies and subassemblies with emphasis on embedded systems development.
- Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout using industry standard CAD SW such as Altium Designer.
- Experience in writing firmware from Bare metal to RTOS for various microcontrollers.
- Experienced leading small team of electrical engineering professionals working on development and sustainment.
