Job Title: Non CDL Runback Driver (Local Delivery)
Location: Kansas City, MO

We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 7 locations. Our drivers touch freight! As a Run Back Driver, you are the team member that our customers interact with the most. Providing exceptional customer service is a key part of this role and is essential in maintaining our commitment to customer service. You will interact with customers professionally, ensuring a positive delivery experience and addressing any questions or concerns. Duties include taking a 4 pallet truck out to local customers in the Kansas City area. Checking orders for accuracy, inspecting product for damage, and keeping accurate records of deliveries.
Pay: $21 per hour
Schedule: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
What we look for:
- Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21 or older
- Access to reliable and punctual transportation
- Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
- Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
- Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
- Must be able to read and write English
- Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
- Must be comfortable driving a 26ft box truck
What you’ll do:
- SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines
- Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions
- Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally
