We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resource Manager for our Corporate Office location in Dallas, Texas. The Senior HR Manager’s main priority is responsibility for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resource function for Loloi. This role will lead the routine functions of the HR department including onboarding / offboarding, leaves of absence, discipline, investigations, training, regulatory compliance, and enforcing policies and practices.
This role will be performed in-person (5 days in-office), full-time, in our Dallas, Texas Corporate headquarters.
Responsibilities :
- Partner with ownership and executives to understand and carry out the HR goals and objectives for the company.
- Act as the first point of contact for all questions and issues not related to payroll and benefits, which are handled by our Payroll and Benefits team, for both management and employees.
- Maintain a business-minded approach to human resources when : (1) providing support and guidance on HR issues; (2) addressing issues.
- Oversee and perform new hire orientation and then employee onboarding and retention efforts.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, and recommend best practices.
- Establish, review, modify, and enforce policies and practices to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws; advise ownership and management on potential impact and needed actions
- Advise on employee relations matters, including advising on pre-hire background check results, performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions including terminating employees.
- Respond to claims of unemployment and represent the company in appeals.
- Respond to administrative claims of discrimination, harassment, etc.
- Oversee “non-subscriber” workplace injury claims.
- Prepare and deliver training on various HR topics.
- Assist the Payroll and Benefits team with the employee benefits programs.
- Assist the Payroll and Benefits teams in ensuring compliance with payroll practices and compensation laws.
- Assist the Talent Acquisition team (e.g., job descriptions, immigration compliance, coordinating with managers for new hires, etc.
- Assist with workplace safety compliance.
- Assist with creating and analyzing employee reports and statistics as directed.
- Supervise warehouse HR staff
- Demonstrate a high level of ethical conduct and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel information
- Other duties as assigned
