The Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Division of Pediatric Endocrinology, is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our team. This role primarily involves supporting our outpatient services for patients with diabetes at the PDEC.
Position Highlights:
- Provide specialized care for patients with diabetes, with an emphasis on education, management, and follow-up.
- Potential to expand care to select pediatric endocrinology conditions.
- Shared call responsibilities for after-hours support, addressing patient and parent calls related to diabetes management.
- Perform physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, make diagnoses, and prescribe treatments.
- Care for patients under the age of 21; pediatric NP education/experience is required.
Qualifications:
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) certification.
- Experience in pediatrics, preferably in a specialty setting.
- Strong clinical skills in diabetes management and familiarity with diabetes technology is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $110,000-150,000. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
