Job Purpose
Reporting to the VP of Asset Management, the Energy Manager will play a key role at Longroad in managing energy market risk on a growing 3.5 GW operating base, analyzing the performance of wind, solar and battery storage assets and overseeing execution of obligations under a range of energy agreements. The role will have a strong and close relationship with the asset management and operations teams as well as interact directly with the development and finance teams. This role will oversee Longroad’s energy bidding strategy and monitor real-time results to determine how market conditions are impacting project financial results. The Energy Manager will help optimize operational and financial performance of the Longroad fleet through the development and execution of energy management strategies discussed with and approved by the Company’s senior leadership team.
