What are the responsibilities and job description for the Looking for LPN/RN - 12 Hour Shift - 6:45pm to 7:15am position at Longwood Health and Rehabilitation Center?
Responsibilities:
- Work and complete assigned shift with clock in time of 6:45 pm to 7:15 am clock out time
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff
- Coordinate and oversee patient care activities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations
- Manage and allocate resources effectively
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in complex patient situations
- Administer medications, including IV infusions, as needed
- On call rotation
Requirements:
- Valid LPN/RN nursing license in the state of Florida
- Proven experience in nursing supervision
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to effectively lead and manage a team of nurses
- Proficient in performing various nursing procedures, including IV infusion, phlebotomy, and catheter care
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
