JOB DESCRIPTION

Member Service Representative

Purpose: To facilitate member service transactions and positively impact the member experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Maintain knowledge of all banking products and services, along with credit union systems, policies, and procedures

· Provide exceptional member experience

· Process member transaction requests accurately and timely

· Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff member and/or perform member requested transactions

· Comply with operational, security and control policies to prevent fraud and protecting members assets

· Meet teller referral goals

· Cross-sell other products and services that meet members’ financial needs

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Other duties as assigned

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma or GED required

· 2 years’ of teller experience and/or equivalent cash handling

· A self-starter

· Detail oriented

· Strong computer skills

· Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision

· Impeccable written and oral communication skills

· Ability to remain flexible to changes to schedule and deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
