Experience Construction Estimator

INDIRECT - Fairfield, Ohio

Schedule: 8-hour shift; Monday to Friday, Plus Overtime

Full-Time - Exempt

Work Location: 260 Osborne Drive, Fairfield, OH

Loveland Excavating and Paving is a full-service site development company serving SW Ohio. We provide first-class construction services to some of Greater Cincinnati's most notable customers. Prior experience in site development, concrete, and asphalt industry is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to understand project requirements thoroughly.
• 
  
• Possess the ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawing specifications, scope of work documents, and project schedules.
• 
  
• Collaborate with project managers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for the estimation process to transition successful bids into actionable projects.
• 
  
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and ensure they meet client specifications and requirements.
• 
  
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing to enhance competitiveness.
• 
  
• Maintain a database of historical cost data for future reference and analysis.
• 
  
• Ensure contract terms and conditions align with the bid proposal and project requirements.
• 
  
• Assist in cost-saving initiatives to enhance project profitability.
• 
  
• Perform additional tasks and assignments as necessary to meet deadlines or at management’s discretion.
