What are the responsibilities and job description for the Small Package Handler position at Loving Pets?
Position Responsibilities
- Accurate packing and shipping of small parcels and sample orders.
- Determine method of shipment based off of customer requirements.
- Create shipping labels using ship software platform specified.
- Maintain clean work area.
- Meet minimum daily shipping output expectations.
- Comply with all quality standards and policies.
- Assist in warehouse as assigned.
- Manage inventory accuracy within work station.
- Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience working with carrier ship method to ship small parcel packages (Fedex Ground/UPS Ground).
- Ability to read product identification quickly and accurately.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to take and follow directions and work well with others as part of team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to utilize inventory management software.
- Arrive on time and ready to work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented -- quality and precision-focused
- Team-oriented -- cooperative and collaborative
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
