Lowell Community Health Center is seeking a Temporary Medical Billing professional for it's Patient Accounts Department. Support daily functions within the department ensuring accurate and timely billing and posting of insurance and patient payments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Initial review and charge entry of encounter forms, preparation and processing manual insurance claims, evaluation of patient's financial status and establish budget payment plans with proper follow-up and reporting status of delinquent accounts. In addition, working with other departments within LCHC to communicate any inaccuracies and providing patients with insurance benefit interpretations.

Qualifications
Previous data entry experience required. Knowledge of CPT-4, HCPCS, ICD-9 or ICD-10 codes and medical terminology a must! High school diploma or equivalent required.
