Description:
- Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total nursing care and functions in one unit on a particular shift, including functioning in Charge Nurse role. Responsible for orientation, training, and management of personnel. Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains satisfactory relations with other departments; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills.

Monday-Friday Day Shift – 8:00am-4:30pm

Requirements
Educational/Experience:
- Current Iowa Registered Nurse licensure
- 2-5 years Emergency Department RN experience
- Healthcare Provider BLS
- ACLS & TNCC required within 12 months of employment
- Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification required within 6 months of employment
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well
Preferred:
- Supervisory experience
- NRP & PALS preferred
