Econofoods Assistant Produce Manager

Full Time (40 hours per week) work schedule, must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Must understand the importance of and provide excellent customer service.
• Able to communicate clearly and consistently across a broad range of individuals.
• Basic computer and typing skills. Prior knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred, but willing to train.
• Basic math skills for till supervision and ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
• Will assist operations manager in completing front end employee scheduling.
• Assists operations manager in applicant screening and recruiting.
• Assists in writing and discussing performance reviews.
• Will receive training in cashiering, service counter, and basic management skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to occasionally lift/carry items weighing up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to grasp, twist, and arrange items for the duration of the shift (100 times per day)
• Must be able to remain on feet for prolonged periods.
• Range of motion must allow for reaching items from shoulder height to ground level.
