About You
You are an experienced operations manager with a proven professional history overseeing and managing all aspects of operations in a retail environment. You are highly skilled at developing processes, overseeing multi-site facility maintenance, managing vendor relationships, and implementing operational standards. You are extremely proficient in developing, maintaining, and training various stakeholders on operational standards and will leverage your effective communication skills to liaise with all of Lugano’s salons (retail locations) and headquarters operations teams.
Your deep experience coordinating maintenance activities, managing vendor relationships, and implementing operational processes has prepared you to support and be the main point of contact for the Real Estate Development department during new location openings. You are excited to travel to Lugano locations to conduct inspections and ensure compliance with Lugano’s high standard of excellence.
What You Will Do
- Operational Oversight
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all Operations processes and protocols and continuously collaborate with department leaders to ensure that all operations manuals are accurate, relevant, and updated.
- Analyze and gather feedback to develop new processes that improve operational best practices.
- Develop and implement project plans, including setting objectives, timelines, and allocating resources.
- Support the Real Estate Dev Team on all new locations after opening and on-going operations management.
- Provide ongoing support to the Salon Operations Team and provide training/info that ensures operational consistency a high bar of operational excellence.
- Handle all scheduling of initial services and management of accounts.
- Workplace Operations
- Manage operations for multi-site retail locations (domestic & international) remotely from Lugano’s Newport Beach, CA headquarters.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all locations, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Build processes, supervise, and coordinate with salon Ops. team the work of maintenance staff and external contractors.
- Oversee the workplace ticketing system, ensuring that requests/issues are addressed in a timely manner. Oversee the timely response and resolution to time pressing issues.
- Manage relationships and service delivery with vendors and service providers, including requesting quotes, scheduling appointments, submitting invoices, negotiating contracts, and ensuring quality service delivery.
- Track expenses and provide regular reports on facilities spending.

What You Will Bring
- Proven professional experience as an operations Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a retail or luxury environment
- Experience managing facilities for multiple retail locations
- Knowledge of luxury retail operations and ability to deliver remarkable to internal and external customers
- Strong understanding of training methodologies, learning principles, and instructional design
- Demonstrated success in process improvement and documentation
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities
- Aptitude to work independently and collaboratively with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive and clear communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding and ability to respond quickly to emergencies and provide after-hours support as needed
- Ability to travel to domestic and international salons as required
Pay Transparency
The targeted annual base compensation is $110,000 (plus an annual bonus). The total compensation package is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
