LUK, Inc. seeks to hire a Director of Integrated Behavioral Health Care to be a dynamic change leader for a dedicated group of professionals enhancing access to high quality, integrated behavioral health care. - Acquire a deep understanding and commitment to LUK’s Mission, Vision and Values and programming and advocacy.
- Directly oversee and manage LUK’s Behavioral Health Clinics including the SAMHSA Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) and Medicaid-contracted Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center (BHUCC).
- Lead agency staff to ensure the successful development, implementation and success of program outcomes, including attainment of access standards and integrated care requirements for BHUCC and CCBHC programs.
- Together with the VP of Clinical Services, lead the development of policies, procedures, practices, workflows, and systems improvements that increase access to, coordination of, and revenue generation from LUK’s array of clinical and wrap-around services.
- Provide leadership, support, managerial supervision, and licensed clinical supervision within the Integrated Behavioral Health Care Division.
- Ensure adequacy and appropriateness of consumer care.
- In collaboration with leadership, and responding to change management and practice development needs, design and implement in- service training for staff.
- Partner with Human Resources to recruit and retain dedicated and passionate staff to work within the division.
- In collaboration with leadership, the VP of Clinical Services, operations, and administration develop and review budgets that balance the needs of program outcomes with solid fiscal management.
- Collaborate with operations and clinical staff to implement performance improvement strategies for optimizing caseload management, productivity, and billing for covered behavioral health services.
- Ensure timely and thorough completion and submission of all required documentation by staff, including billing and supervisory requirements.
- Partner with Finance to ensure consistent operation of billing structures and functions.
- In partnership with Marketing, market and promote behavioral health services.
- Develop mechanisms to promote client and community involvement within the program.
- Promote and participate in quality assurance activities, including compliance with all licensing, regulatory, and purchaser requirements (e.g., insurance company performance specifications, DPH clinic licensing regulations, SAMHSA grant requirements).
- Facilitate quality improvement efforts by monitoring data, identifying gaps in services, developing and executing quality improvement plans, and participating in program development activities.
- Provide crisis management and intervention as appropriate.
- Participate in the agency On-Call Service Team.
The qualified candidate will have independent Massachusetts licensure in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (e.g., LMHC, LICSW, LADC, LMFT, licensed psychologist) and have 5-7 years experience providing program oversight, supervision and leadership.
