Director of Residential Services

The Director of Residential Services oversees LUK’s Residential Services Division. This position provides leadership and ensures the success of the agency’s congregate care programs. The Director ensures compliance with and maintenance of all required licensing, regulatory, and funder standards, balancing continuous quality improvement with solid fiscal management. The Director supervises and mentors Residential Leadership positions and ensures all Residential staff are trained in agency and component policies, procedures, and practices. The Director works with Residential Leadership and staff to promote youth involvement within the program and community. This position represents the agency at external meetings and serves on the agency’s Leadership Team as well as other internal structures. The Director collaborates with municipal partners to develop strong partnerships and effective communication streams.

The qualified candidate will have a Master’s degree in a human services field. Independent licensure preferred. Supervisory/management experience required; if unlicensed, the candidate must have at least 10 years of supervisory/management experience. Experience working with child-serving systems and at-risk children, youth, and families required. Excellent communication and computer skills required. Valid driver’s license required.

This is a full-time position located in North Central Massachusetts and will include community-based travel. Work schedule must accommodate the needs of the residential programs as well as children/youth and their families. Bilingual/bicultural candidates are encouraged to apply.
