The Quality Analyst position is essential in ensuring the highest quality standards for Lumitec’s marine and commercial LED lighting products. You’ll work closely with engineering, production, and compliance teams to ensure all products meet rigorous testing, qualification, and ISO 9001 standards. THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION, 100% ON SITE. Located in Delray Beach, Florida, our offices are very close to I-95, and commutable from Fort Lauderdale to Palm Beach Gardens.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Ensure product quality at all stages of the Product Development Life Cycle and manufacturing process.
• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and qualification protocols to verify compliance with Lumitec’s product standards and industry requirements.
• Conduct rigorous product testing, including environmental, mechanical, and electrical tests, to validate product durability and performance.
• Manage ISO 9001 compliance, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to quality management system (QMS) protocols.
• Investigate and verify reported quality issues in manufacturing and field applications, ensuring defects are properly documented and resolved.
• Oversee production quality assurance, implementing inspection, and verification procedures for incoming materials, in-process manufacturing, and final product validation.
• Analyze test results and customer feedback to identify trends and proactively drive product improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure designs meet quality standards before mass production.
• Act as the voice of the customer in quality reviews, ensuring that all products exceed expectations for reliability and performance.
• Develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) based on quality trends, customer feedback, and defect analysis.
• Proactively identify gaps in quality processes and recommending improvements to increase efficiency, reliability, and consistency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field OR a technical degree with equivalent industry experience.
• 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Quality, or Compliance role.
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 or similar facility.
• Strong knowledge of product testing, quality control, and qualification procedures.
• Experience in manufacturing quality assurance and familiarity with inspection techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking.
• Strong ability to document and communicate quality issues, with experience in defect management systems.
• Experience working with quality management systems (QMS) and conducting internal quality audits.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with environmental, mechanical, and electrical testing of products.
• Familiarity with corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for lighting or electronic products.
• Previous work with lighting, marine, or electronic products.
