This role requires a skilled professional with a strong background in SQL and report development, capable of translating business requirements into effective reporting solutions while ensuring data accuracy and integrity. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.
DUTIES
Design, develop, document, and deliver operational reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
Review and translate business requirements into report requirements.
Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables in accordance with due dates and project requirements.
Test and validate reports for accuracy and integrity.
Troubleshoot reported issues to correct defects and anomalies.
Develop and implement stored procedures using T-SQL.
Research data and data relationships.
Assess reporting needs and provide recommendations for solutions.
Ad-hoc query development and reports to support business needs.
Develop ETL jobs to migrate data.
Maintains documentation of reports.
Create and maintain training and support materials for technology applications.
Provide reporting support and guidance to other users.
Gain understanding of the impact and importance of underlying data and become an expert in its use.
Participation in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
Other related duties may include application support for a custom application.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
2-4 years' experience in SQL/Report development.
2-4 years of relational database experience
Knowledge and experience using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Expertise in building complex SQL queries.
Experience with designing, developing, and troubleshooting reports.
Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing.
Nice to have: Salesforce, Power BI
