Overview
We are seeking a skilled Web Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the development and maintenance of our company's website, ensuring its functionality, design, and user experience meet high standards. Responsible for the overall operation of the company Web Store, wholesale parts and accessory business including management, product mix, annual sales targets, expanding product options in line with brand strategy, establishing strategic business relations with wholesale distribution partners, outside vendors, suppliers, and providing outstanding customer service. This position is also responsible for organizing the web store physical operations, inventory areas, as well as working with other internal departments to keep pricing and content updated. Aid LWRCI distributors and end users.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the company website orders, including content updates, design changes, and functionality improvements
- Monitor website traffic and performance metrics to optimize user experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement web strategies that align with business goals
- Ensure website compliance with SEO best practices to enhance online visibility
- Oversee web development projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality output
- Manage the operation of the LWRCI Web Store, wholesale parts, and accessories, including inventory and physical operations.
- Devise and deploy sales plans for LWRCI Web Store to include product forecasts, sales targets and budgets.
- Execute quarterly and seasonal promotions and programs to keep business on plan.
- Create an integrated sales plan for website operations with reporting metrics utilizing existing processes, IT systems, talent and other resources to maximize sales performance.
- Work with outside vendors and suppliers to source and stock innovative products, parts, and accessories while working with distributors, big box retail sales managers and dealers as required.
- Interface with internal departments for authorization on budgets, sales programs, and business plan decisions.
- Monitor and report monthly sales performance of the Web Store Operations by conducting analysis in order to manage performance levels of sales against market developments and company objectives.
- Plan and attend industry, distribution partner, and marketing segment business shows and meetings when necessary to optimize sales opportunities.
- Establish process for working with production and manufacturing to keep parts and accessories in stock.
- Communicate LWRCI brand story and identity both externally and internally to pertinent key business collaborates, units, and customers.
- Update inventory of LWRCI branded items that are in line with corporate brand position, quality and end user requirements.
Requirements
- Proficiency in web management tools and platforms
- Strong understanding of web design principles and user experience best practices
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in e-commerce or retail management is a plus
- Knowledge of SEO strategies and digital marketing trends
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong attention to detail. Comfortable to advocate and problem solve when needed. Highly motivated and able to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Relevant computer skills, data entry, ability to look up customer information in various systems.
- Ability to develop sales strategies and performance metrics.
- Extensive knowledge of firearms products and the shooting sports industry preferred.
- Precise work detail, exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership ability with an entrepreneurial attitude.
- Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
