Responsibilities
· The Area Sales Manager is primarily responsible for executing field sales strategy, achieving sales objectives, and providing direction and leadership to multiple Account Executives, Marketing Representatives and Team Leads.
· Provide weekly reporting to your team as to their progress.
· Drive area performance to deliver on training objectives, grow brand awareness, and meet established KPI's
· Set performance standards and identify methods to achieve, audit, and constantly improve results
· Schedule and conduct regular face-to-face meetings and/or ride-alongs with direct reports
· Participate in developing various processes, call reports, and training materials to support the Sales Reps and Marketing Reps
· Schedule weekly team conference calls to keep the Account Executives, Marketing Representatives and Team Leads on the same page, and ensure they are being effective in achieving all objectives.
· Manage all aspects of the region's hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, disciplining, and motivating
· Set performance standards and identify methods to achieve, audit, and constantly improve results
· Schedule and conduct regular face-to-face meetings and/or ride-alongs
· Possess observational, analytical, and communication skills to ensure store-level conditions, trends, and competitive insights are recognized, captured, and reported on
· Ensure the region has the tools and resources necessary to meet goals and objectives
· Drives focus to the team on a daily, weekly and monthly basis with sales calls, conference calls, and email reporting
· Holds team accountable for achieving the goals (Number of visits, new accounts, activations)
Education
· At least 2-10 years’ experience in a similarly situated sales role.
· Sales experience in telecom/retail/direct distribution, FMCG and prepaid wireless required.
· Some college preferred
· Solid sales experience with excellent negotiation skills
· Technical and non-technical communication skills, including strong verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
· Flexible and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
· Self-Motivated, Team Oriented, Goal Oriented and Strong Attention to Detail
· Exceptional presentation skills
· Solid Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to travel as required

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
