Lyle Machinery Co., is a diversified equipment dealer in the southeast. Our family-owned and operated company, headquartered in Richland, Mississippi, performs service and repairs, both on-site and in the field, in addition to sales, leases and rentals of heavy equipment.

Position: Service Admin - (Industry Specific)

** This is NOT a general clerical position. Candidates will not be accepted without knowledge of work order systems for service and/or Construction, Agricultural, and/or Utility experience.

Duties:

• Maintaining and monitoring detailed records of repair orders, and other required data, including but not limited to, DOT requirements, payroll information, and asset service records
• Follow up with other inter-company departments on open issues
• Supervision of the opening, updating, and closing of work orders
• Verification and processing of invoices
• Required reporting for budgetary issues
• Prepare service department correspondence as directed by Service Manager
• Ordering and maintaining needed shop and field service supplies
• Other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• Must have an Associate’s degree or a minimum of 3 years direct experience
• Ability to learn machine specific functions and needs
• Must have excellent organizational skills conductive to multi-tasking.
• Must be able to report to work as scheduled every day
• Must be able to work weekends and/or overtime as necessary

• Strong work ethic and desire to do multiple different tasks daily
• Ability to work in a close-knit team environment.
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrate knowledge of industrial, agricultural, or heavy equipment industries
