What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher - Driver's Education position at Lyndon Institute?
Lyndon Institute is seeking to hire a full time Driver's Education Teacher for the 2025/2026 school year. This position will report directly to the Director of Career and Technical Education and be responsible for:
- Teaching classes on driver and road safety, vehicular operation rules and basic vehicle maintenance based on the requirements of the Agency of Education and Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Provide classroom instruction and "hands on" driving instruction per regulations established by the Agency of Education and Department of Motor Vehicles.
Interested candidates must submit a letter of interest, resume, three letters of recommendation, and proof of Vermont licensure. Experience is preferred but not required.
