Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical and secretarial duties to support academic services.
- Act as a recorder for disciplinary, divisional, and standing committee meetings.
- Assist faculty with course evaluations, senior surveys, program assessments, and
reports. - Coordinate faculty searches and events such as Academic Day and more.
- Manage purchasing of course materials, office supplies, and lab supplies, while
monitoring budgets. - Collect and communicate essential information, such as course syllabi, faculty hours,
and class cancellations. - Support the activities and programs within the Nursing department.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Academic Operations Manager or Chief
Academic Officer.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in academic administration or operations,
preferably within a liberal arts context. - Technical Skills: Proficient in data management systems and academic software.
Must have personal computer experience with knowledge of spreadsheet and word
processing software. - Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
Must possess a friendly, positive customer service attitude and be prepared to assist
the campus community (faculty, staff, visitors, and students) with day-to-day and
circumstantial requests. - Attention to Detail: Accurate and timely responses to requests is a must.
- Ethics: High ethical standards and discretion with confidential data.
