What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator position at M5 Utilities?
- Operates Front-end Loader, Skid Steer, mini excavator, and other equipment as needed for the installation of underground utilities or other associated work.
- Observe all safety guidelines for machinery and maintain equipment with care.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Dig trenches to desired or required depths
- Connect pipe pieces and seal joints using cement, glue, or other method.
- Perform Traffic Control Safety and flagging when needed.
- Other duties the Project Foreman deems necessary to remain productive on the job site
M5 does require all applicants to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
