Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking drink orders and offering recommendations.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and tracking usage.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, especially during banquets or special events.
- Stay updated on industry trends, cocktail recipes, and brewing techniques to enhance the drink menu.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred; experience in the food industry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Familiarity with fine dining service standards and hospitality best practices.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- A passion for brewing techniques and craft cocktails is highly desirable.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
