Job Summary : A Field Service Firetruck Technician is responsible for traveling to customer sites to perform a variety of services including inspection, preventative maintenance, and repair work, on a wide range of heavy equipment.
Essential Duties :
- Conduct on-site equipment inspections and maintenance at customer locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues in the field and perform necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with Service Manager to schedule and prioritize field service calls.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
- Builds knowledge of dealer supported product lines, service standards, and procedures and keeps abreast of all changes in various models of equipment sold and serviced by the distributor
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment while working in the field.
- Maintain remote parts inventory.
- Willingness for overnight travel including some multi-day events.
- Willing to take an active role in acquiring new business opportunities in AOR
- Act as ambassador of the company with customers
