Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Field Welder with a Manufacturing company located in Phoenix, AZ.
Pay-rate : $24-$28 / hour
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 6 : 00AM-4 : 00PM
This is a Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
FIELD WELDER RESPONSIBILITIES :
Create a culture within the area of responsibility that promotes respect and team involvement.
Operate equipment, forklift, truck, welding unit and other equipment.
Maintain clear communication and a safe work environment.
Perform accurate in-process and final inspections to maintain product quality.
Maintain all tools and machinery.
Responsible for safety of all assigned work.
Perform other assigned tasks.
FIELD WORKER QUALIFICATIONS :
5 plus years of experience. MIG, Stick and Structural Steel experience.
Ability to lift 75 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, climb and carry objects with ease.
Solid technical background with hands-on experience in steel erection and welding.
Must have effective written and oral communication skills.
Working knowledge of all welding methods, procedures, and quality control.
Working knowledge of all tools and equipment.
AWS / Certified Weld Inspector preferred
