Millwright Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, dismantle, and relocate industrial machinery and equipment, such as conveyors, pumps, compressors, motors, and production lines, according to blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair tasks to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues that may affect equipment performance or safety.
Conduct troubleshooting activities to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, including analyzing machine logs, observing operation, and utilizing specialized tools and equipment.
Carry out adjustments, alignments, and calibrations to ensure equipment operates at optimal levels of efficiency and accuracy.
Perform regular lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of worn parts to prevent equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Millwright Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in millwrighting or related fields is preferred.
Proven experience as an Industrial Millwright, with a solid understanding of mechanical systems, power transmission, and hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
Strong knowledge of precision tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and measuring instruments.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to assemble, install, and repair machinery.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
Good physical stamina and manual dexterity, with the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
MUST POSSESS A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE.
