RN Clinical Implementation Manager
Magnolia Medical Technologies has the unique opportunity for a RN Clinical Implementation Manager. As a resource to the Area commercial team, the RN CI Manager will play a key role in driving the clinical planning, adoption, and integration of Magnolia Medical’s products within healthcare systems. This role involves planning and managing product evaluations, overseeing clinical training programs, and ensuring smooth transitions during product conversions. Reporting to the Area Vice President of Sales, the CI Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams, healthcare providers, and key customer stakeholders to ensure successful project execution, resource management, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, expertise in project management, experience with sales teams and a proven ability to lead change management and protocol-driven clinical practices. This hybrid position is remote and requires approximately 50-75% travel, primarily to customer facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Project Development & Implementation
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of clinical product evaluations and implementations, ensuring alignment with sales processes and customer success objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
- Oversee logistics for materials, training, and product conversion, ensuring seamless execution.
- Conduct comprehensive training on Steripath® and Magnolia Analytics®, focusing on product utilization, the Initial Specimen Diversion Device (ISDD), and data collection.
- Facilitate training, onboarding, and competency development for the Customer Success team.
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate closely with Territory Account Managers and Business Directors to identify project priorities and ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and customer stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Engage with hospital departments (e.g., Emergency Department, Laboratory, Infection Prevention, Clinical Value Analysis) to develop customized implementation plans.
- Lead on-site clinical training sessions to ensure effective product utilization by customer teams.
Customer Success & Relationship Management
- Build and sustain strong, professional relationships with hospital teams and other key stakeholders.
- Serve as the clinical subject matter expert, providing guidance to customers throughout the implementation process.
- Demonstrate internally and to our customers an understanding of our solution, the clinical and economic value proposition through Magnolia Analytics® data collection and reporting.
- Identify and address customer challenges, ensuring that Magnolia’s solutions meet their specific needs and goals.
Project Tracking & Performance Management
- Monitor the performance of clinical implementations through data tracking, reporting, and the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Efficiently manage resources and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication regarding project status and adjust plans as necessary to stay aligned with milestones.
- Create comprehensive on-site schedules and resource plans based on shift demands.
Required Qualifications
Education & Clinical Experience
-
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 7 years of clinical experience, including at least 3 years in project management.
- Experience in acute or critical care settings such as the Emergency Department, ICU, Vascular Access, Infection Prevention, or Infectious Diseases is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of blood culture collection techniques and best practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of nursing schedules and coverage needs.
- Experience with clinical education, sales teams and training highly desired.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
Project Management Expertise

- Proven ability to lead complex projects from initiation through to successful completion.
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills, with proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience in medical device implementation and product conversion processes is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deadlines and customer expectations are met.
- Experience managing shift schedules and applying coverage demands as needed.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
- Comfort and experience in delivering presentations and training in clinical settings.
Technical Proficiency

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Ability to conduct basic clinical performance data analysis and contribute to cost-benefit assessments and product utilization rates.
- Using applied data strategies to create actionable plans that drive clinician competency and product utilization.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel approximately 50%-75% of the time, including overnight travel as required. Candidates must be local to a major airport within the Northeast Sales Area (ex: Chicago, Boston, NY and North NJ)
