Saute Cook

• Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follows recipes, creates consistent products, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
• Preps, labels and restocks all items as needed throughout the shift
• Cleans and maintains the station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation and

• Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment on

• Knows cooking times and temperatures of grilled meats
• Lead the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and

• Making sure item pars are prepped for following service and willing to stay until job is complete
• Able to multitask on the line and take ownership of station
• Performs additional responsibilities as requested by Management and Chefs

• Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
• Hot line, fast paced experience
• Knowledge of stocks, Mother sauces, and Monter au Beurre

• Professional communication skills are required
• Ability to take direction
