The Role: Physical Therapist The Opportunity: This role provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover, and maintain physical mobility/function within an assigned area. Job Description: The Work: Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition. Designs the appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment. Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities. Documents subjective, objective, and assessment findings and plans patient progress. Educates and counsels the patient and family/caregiver. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs. Supervises and delegates the care provided by physical therapy assistants according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards. You Have: Maine State Physical Therapy licensure required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider preferred.
