Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group immediately needs an Interim HIPAA Privacy Counsel for a part-time long-term consulting opportunity.
Overview: Our client seeks a talented Interim HIPAA Privacy Counsel with 7 years of experience. Our client is also open to candidates with solid consumer privacy experience from retail or financial services.

Location: Remote
Responsibilities Include: The interim HIPAA Privacy Counsel will work along with the Chief Privacy Officer and assist with:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining privacy policies and procedures
- Ensuring that privacy policies are enforced
- Training employees on privacy
- Conducting risk assessments
- Investigating potential breaches of PHI
Qualifications Include:
- 7 years of HIPPA Privacy experience, also open to candidates with consumer privacy experience from retail or financial services.
- Available for 20 hours/week to support on a remote basis. Licensed and in good standing in at least one jurisdiction.
Pay Rate: The pay range for this role is $90-95/hr based on appropriate and applicable experience.
