Certification Details BLS / BCLS Job Details Physical Therapists are responsible for the evaluation of patients referred for physical therapy treatment, formulation of a treatment plan and goals, and administration of the physical therapy treatments. 1 : 1 Patient care with one 45 min appointment every hour. Performs appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on the patients diagnosis. Develop treatment plans, including reassess and revise every 6 weeks or earlier based on patient's progress. Performs physical therapy techniques appropriate to the diagnosis. Demonstrates use of physical therapy modalities appropriate to the diagnosis. Documents progress reports for patients in a timely manner to coincide with physician follow up visits, and to assist with compliance for insurance carriers and utilization review companies for authorization and reimbursement. In addition to scheduled weekday and Saturday shifts, will share with other PTs coverage for in-patient care on holidays and Sundays (generally one holiday per year and Sunday coverage 6-8 times per year). Job Requirements Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy and a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California. American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required. Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments. Minimum of one year PT experience preferred. Schedule Information Will work in our Mammoth Lakes, CA outpatient clinic. In addition to scheduled weekday and Saturday shifts, will share with other PTs coverage for in-patient care on holidays and Sundays (generally one holiday per year and Sunday coverage 6-8 times per year). Additional Details We can provide dorm-style housing (depending on availability) in completely self-sufficient apartments for a monthly cost. The rental cost depends on the size of the dorm. We have two different styles of apartments : one-bedroom apartments and studios. Each apartment has its own private kitchen and bathroom. All apartments are furnished with living area furniture and counter stools. Amenities at the apartments : pool, ping-pong, or foosball in our great common area.
