SUMMARY : Management Business Solutions is seeking a Powerhouse Maintenance Technician for its client in Syracuse, New York, United States. The person will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing powerhouse equipment, including steam boilers, air compressors, power-generating systems, and pressurized piping systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience working with powerhouse equipment in a manufacturing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Install, maintain, and repair steam boilers, air compressors, power generation equipment, pumps, motors, and pressurized piping systems.
- Conduct chemical tests on boilers and related equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical malfunctions in powerhouse machinery.
- Utilize hand tools, pipe-fitting machinery, torches, and soldering equipment for maintenance and repairs.
- Install and maintain high-pressure steam stations and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot powerhouse equipment, including both analog and digital control systems.
- Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and plumbing schematics.
- Manage time schedules using the energy management system.
