What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Title Clerk position at Manderbach Ford?
Ford Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Title Clerk to join our dealership accounting team! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to represent Ford with honesty and integrity. The ideal candidate will play a key role in growing our dealership accounting team, and ensuring our dealerships are supported in the best way possible.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience as a title clerk, preferable in the automotive industry. Working with a Dealer Management System (DMS) such as CDK or Techion is a plus. Knowledge of out-of-state titles is a plus.
Responsibilities:
· Proper titling of new, used and wholesale sales for the dealership, ensuring the company’s tag and title work meets state requirements and submit all legal transfer documents to the state department of motor vehicles (DMV)
· Ensures retail transactions are processed in a timely fashion, verifying the costs and transactions
· Prepares purchase and trade-in documentation, tax and title documents, processing leasing and loan paperwork and paperwork for submission to the tag agency
· Contacts banks to obtain lien releases
· Provide additional administrative support as needed
