We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team! As a an Assistant Manager to the owner, you will be responsible for the restaurant’s FOH / BOH operational performance during your shift.
You will create employee schedules, supervise staff, and assign duties to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with restaurant experience.
Will need to assist the manager and owners when they are not on site. This is a very pivotal role to work with the managers and owners to grow this business into a multi site operation.
You may have to jump in and server, clean a table and or expedite in the kitchen. Will not consider fast food managers!
Responsibilities :
- Train and manage server employees and assign duties as needed
- Lead team in providing exceptional customer service
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
- Provide sales and productivity reports to upper management
- Maintain appropriate cleanliness, orders and manage the dinning room
- Cover the shifts of absent employees and serve if required
- Ordering of food and inventory
- Scheduling
Qualifications :
- High school diploma / prefer College Degree
- Previous food service experience FOH / BOH 5 years min
- Super Competent and Detailed Orientated
- Must me able to manage staff
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and TOAST POS software
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent management and leadership skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Handle Cash Management and End of Day Closing
- Able to train and evaluate staff to management's expectations
