Quality representative within production, who represents the customer voice, ensures product / process conformity in accordance with the control plan, and confirms conformity to the customer specific requirements and MMS standards in operations.
Main Tasks
- Responsible to respect the Quality Management System according to Customer and MMS standards
- Responsible for customer scorecard review (claims and PPMs) and responsible to trigger the corrective actions with the involved departments / areas if the results are not meeting expected requirements.
- Maintain system to manage subcontractors of production parts and services to ensure quality parts are used in manufacturing system, including verifying acceptable components or material, tracking supplier performance and working with suppliers to establish corrective actions when needed.
- Responsible to track the plant operations quality objectives and monitor internal quality performance and trigger corrective action in case of deviation.
- Responsible to support the customer, internal and external management system audits. In case of an audit finding in their area of responsibility, organizes the investigation, correction or corrective action and verification.
- Approve the production quality related documentation for example control plan, work instructions, and deviation permits.
- Assure that the TCM process is applied in production (production, process engineering, maintenance…)
- Responsible to initiate and approve closure of the Temporary Quality Wall (TQW) for serial parts.
- Responsible for Quality training and awareness in production by ensuring the right application of Quality Tools and Quality Expertise.
- Has the authority and the responsibility to stop any process or product delivery in case of a serious non-conformance of customer expectations, safety or environmental risks, etc.
