Our Client, a dynamic and innovative life science company dedicated to advancing research and development in the biotechnology sector is currently seeking a proactive and organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of their Boston office. The ideal candidate will have experience in office management within the life science or healthcare sectors and will be responsible for ensuring a productive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Operations: Manage day-to-day office operations, including supply inventory, maintenance of office equipment, and coordination of office layout and space utilization.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to senior management and teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing communications.
- Event Coordination: Plan and organize company meetings, events, and team-building activities, ensuring all logistical details are handled smoothly.
- Budget Management: Assist in budget tracking for office expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial guidelines.
- HR Support: Assist with onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and coordinating training sessions and employee engagement activities.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and manage service agreements.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in office management
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the workplace is a plus.
