What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Manpower Group Inc.?
Jefferson Wells is partnering with one of our clients to identify a Senior Accounting Consultant on a remote basis. Incumbent must be well versed with Percentage of Completion Accounting to qualify.
Hourly Rate : $55 W2 (negotiable)
Location : Remote
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
Reconcile large, unreconciled balances in deferred revenue and unbilled receivables accounts
Track and document offsetting entries at the project level
Perform detailed analysis and reconciliation of ending balances provided by the other operating company (OpCo) prior to system integration
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, potentially writing off unresolvable balances
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of reconciliation processes and findings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with accounting standards
Qualifications for consideration :
In-depth understand of, and experience with, Percentage of Completion (POC) Accounting (mandatory)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools
Experience with NetSuite ERP, Financial Force, and Salesforce a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on reconciliation and deferred revenue / revenue recognition
