Graphics Designer II

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Graphics Designer II to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Create, collaborate, and advise on a range of routine-to-complex graphics, publication design and layout, infographics, forms, briefs, illustrations, posters, logos, and website graphics.
• Develop content that clearly presents complex subject matter to various audiences
• Create and edit visual materials while following graphic design principles and elements.
• Examine how graphics are viewed by their customer to ensure messages are communicated clearly and accurately
• Maintain contact with the customer about project progress and deadlines
• Review products for quality control
• Other duties as required
• The Graphics Designer II takes direction from more senior personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years experience. A total of 8 years experience without a degree.
• Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint to create and edit briefing slides and other presentation material.
• Ability to work on several products concurrently while managing competing deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with graphic design software and tools.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and/or maintain a Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
• Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
