ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) , to join our team in Maryland .
Join ManTech’s mission-focused national security team delivering enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce. This role will support the Intelligence Community’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) platform in Maryland. This role support infrastructure associated with Data Center & Computing Services, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and vendors to deliver services to ManTech’s customers in the IC.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
Provide support to senior ISSOs for implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation.
Assist in the evaluation of security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information.
Assist with the configuration management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
Maintain records on workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, intelligent hubs, network switches, etc. to include system upgrades.
Minimum / Basic Qualifications :
Fifteen (15) years of related experience; four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university.
Experience in three or more of the following areas :
knowledge of current security tools
hardware / software security implementation
communication protocols
encryption techniques / tools.
DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher
Clearance Requirements :
- Must have a current active Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph
