What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper, TKO position at Maple Knoll Communities?
The Knolls of Oxford, a continuing care retirement community, located in Oxford, OH, is looking for fulltime Housekeepers to add to our Housekeeping team!! The hours for this position are either 8a-4p or 9a-5p. The ideal candidate will need to have some flexibility, to work every other weekend and some holidays.
The ideal candidate has a passion for serving older adults, is dependable, has excellent interpersonal skills, and is willing to learn. The starting pay for this position is $15 per hour. Pay is based off prior experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Cleans various resident areas, resident rooms, hallways, public restrooms, and offices.
- Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
- Disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, tubs, floors, and commodes.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Keeps utility storage rooms in good order by arranging supplies.
- Responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
- Housekeepers also do resident discharge cleaning in our skilled facility.
- Contributes to team efforts; exhibits professionalism with residents, resident families, and fellow coworkers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
