Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages and supporting their developmental needs through play, education, and behavior management.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing manner.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and ensuring their comfort.
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for children to play and learn.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Support early childhood education initiatives through structured learning activities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a babysitter are a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Strong behavior management skills to foster positive interactions among children in a Christ-like manner.
- Ability to provide care for infants, toddlers, or daycare aged children effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both children and parents.
- A patient, compassionate demeanor with a genuine love for working with children.
- Relevant certifications in childcare or first aid/CPR are a plus but not required.
