POSITION: Picking Clerical
STATUS: Non-exempt, regular, full time
The Picking Clerical is responsible for picking finished products to fulfil orders for the packing department. Experience in a jewelry factory setting a plus. This position is Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm.
DUTIES:
- Verify items and number of items on job tickets match the orders in the computer.
- Pick items for each order.
- Pick backs for earrings and chain if required
- Collect necessary boxes and pads for orders
- Pick pre-pick orders.
- Allocate items into the computer.
- Receive finished product into inventory as needed
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Accuracy in all picking and receiving responsibilities
- Refer order discrepancies to the shift leader.
- Work with minimum supervision.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Attention to detail
- Organization skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 20 lbs.
- Standing and/or walking 50%*
- Reaching 20%*
- Bending 10%*
- Sitting 10%*
*During times of peak business standing, walking, reaching and/or bending may increase up to 95%, sitting may decrease to 5%
