Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and machining, with the ability to operate various tools and equipment. This role involves working with precision instruments and machinery to create high-quality metal components, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machines, including lathe and electrical discharge machining equipment.
• Utilize micrometers and calipers for precise measurements during the fabrication process.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Program CNC machines as needed for specific projects, ensuring accuracy in production.
• Fabricate metal components using press brake machines and other relevant tools.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues that arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Metal Worker or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating various metalworking machinery.
• Familiarity with quality inspection processes and standards in metal fabrication.
• Experience with programming CNC machines is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
