Job Summary
This position in Admissions & Records Welcome Desk at Chandler Gilbert Community College provides comprehensive support to students seeking assistance with resolving admissions, records, registration, and payment related services in a one-stop enrollment services model to new and continuing students with high levels of accuracy and customer service.

In order to qualify for a Federal Work-Study (FWS) job, a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) must be on file for the current award year and have eligible financial needs based on the college requirements. Please contact the Office of Financial Aid for more information prior to applying to a Federal Work-Study job.
- FWS is a need-based, federally funded program.
- FWS requires the completion of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and confirmation of federal work-study eligibility as determined by the financial aid office.
- FWS does not directly pay for tuition, and funds are only available to eligible students attending a minimum of six (6) degree applicable hours in a federal student aid eligible program.
- The FWS award amount is based on your FAFSA results and college funding availability, which will determine the number of hours available to work while supporting the students academic goals.

Essential Functions
- Provides support for the Enrollment Services welcome desk
- Assists with self-service computer stations
- Aids students with admissions, records and registration processes, guiding students through process and next steps
- Make referrals to other departments based on student needs
- Provides customers with clear, complete and accurate responses to their questions and document interactions in the Student Information System (SIS) and various systems
Minimum Qualifications
- Customer service experience involving a high volume of public contact
- Effective interpersonal skills and written communication skills
- Knowledge of office productivity software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, etc) and computer technology
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a student support area in higher education
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures
