General Summary
The Facilities Planning and Special Projects Coordinator will carry out various administrative services for assigned facilities and will plan, organize, and direct execution of special projects, events, and requests.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees various construction vendors, staff, and teams to ensure collaborative projects are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Fulfills, whether by performing or procuring, needs for various administrative services in assigned facilities.
- Identifies needs, makes recommendations for, and facilitates the procurement of furniture, equipment, and other goods.
- Coordinates and/or performs space-use analysis, inventory, and similar assessments for facilities.
- Collaborates with other departments and staff to draft and execute budgets for assigned projects.
- Coordinates and manages all aspects of assigned projects to ensure timely completion within available budget.
- Attends planning and development meetings and other events involving business operations on behalf of the Chief Facilities & Planning Officer, or other assigned leadership staff as needed.
- Assists the Director, Vice President, or other leadership staff with planning functions for special projects.
- Acts as liaison with architects, engineers, and consultants on behalf of the company in planning, construction, and renovation projects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Experience/Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
- Project Management
- At least five years of related experience required with management experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Office management skills requiring minimum supervision.
- Ability to effectively manage multi-layer and multi-site.
- Highly organized, able to coordinate and complete multiple projects within a coincident time frame. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong time management skills and ability to adjust priorities quickly.
- Exceptional oral/written skills. Ability to demonstrate Core Values in all internal and external interactions.
- Proficient with Project Management tools
- Ability to create, understand, and implement a budget.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Language
Ability to read and speak English proficiently. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
