Position Overview
As a Mobile Branch FSS, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional financial services in a mobile setting in underserved counties in our area. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive banking services, assisting members with their needs, and promoting our credit union’s products and services in a friendly and professional manner. This position requires strong communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently while representing our credit union in various community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting members with transactions, account inquiries, loan inquires, etc. on-site.
· Operate and maintain the mobile banking unit, ensuring it is secure, clean, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
· Promote credit union products and services effectively to enhance member engagement and satisfaction.
· Conduct outreach in the community, attending events and activities to educate members and potential members about our offerings outside of normal business hours.
· Process member transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account and loan requests.
· Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory compliance and security protocols.
· Collaborate with team members and management to identify opportunities for improvement and growth in mobile branch operations.
· Assist with training new staff members when necessary.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in customer service, banking, or financial services is a plus.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Basic math skills and proficiency in using computers, mobile technology, and banking software.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
· Willingness to travel within the underserved communities and flexible availability to accommodate various mobile branch schedules at times outside of normal branch hours.
· Filling in at different branch locations as needed during downtime in the mobile branch.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
